Abstract

Facing the emergent problems in the growing Chinese economy, Chinese government and scholars should re-think the inherited problems with modernity. By adopting Constructive Postmodernism, China can avoid the pitfalls in Western economy.  To be postmodern means to be inclusive, China can draw upon three sources: various Chinese traditions, modern scientific thought, and a postmodern approach that synthesizes old and new ideas.
