Abstract
Philosophy
and theology have always gone hand in hand in Christian thought. The
possible access to solving today's Crisis of Faith in God is neither
Karl Barth's rejection to philosophies, nor returning to the
traditional philosophy, but appealing to Whitehead's Process
Philosophy. The first step to solve the Crisis of Faith is to keep
theology's need of philosophy in mind. Secondly, God's status in
cosmology has to be regained by process philosophy in some way given
that the modern philosophy explains the universe reductionistically.
This reductionism is actually the main reason for the Crisis of Faith.
