Mr. Thome Fang has expounded his view of life and of the world by a doctrine of "the Function of Unceasing Generation of the Universe," and accompanying it with a detailed picture for illustration.  The present paper aims to explain this doctrine, to point out its connection with Confucisnism and Taoism, and to explore its significance in the arena of philosophy.
