Abstract
We begin with the assumption that
Chinese traditional thought and Whitehead's process thinking are alike
in many ways from our study. Our study is in agreement with Whitehead's
persuasion that it is possible to integrate Chinese culture and the
deeper Western cultures and philosophic process modes of thought found
in strains of Western intellectual traditions. Whitehead's hope was
that such integration would enrich and deepen than which is best in
both traditions.
